Buena Vista University

Our program has been around a little over four years and, in that time, we have grown from 20 students in 2021 to close to 70 students in the fall of 2023. In the Spring of 2023, our students competed in over 300 matches against universities across the nation.

One of our greatest accomplishments is our League of Legends, Rocket League, Valorant, Rainbow Six Siege, and Smash Singles teams qualified for Nationals in the National Esports Collegiate Conference. League of Legends finished first in their division in the spring while Valorant and Rainbow Six Siege finished first in their division in the Fall of 2022.

Smash crew battles made the playoffs of their division in the spring for the first time in school history by finishing fourth.

We have three rooms for competition and practices with 35 pcs and consoles for our players to use. We compete in multiple leagues and games and want players that are excited about competition, growing as a person and creating a team environment.
